To prevent algae before it is established at the start of the season dose 1 litre per 10,000 gallons(45 cubic metres) of pool water.
Dilute the required amount of Polyquat algaecide with warm water in a plastic bucket and add slowly into a skimmer or distribute evenly around the pool.
GENERAL ADVICE
Algae is difficult to remove once it is established so it is best to prevent it getting started. Here are three simple tips to avoid algae in your pool.
Test your pool's sanitiser regularly, NEVER let chlorine or bromine get low.
Brush regularly(weekly?), especially the walls and deep end to prevent invisible algae colonies from getting their start.
Make sure your filter is working properly, and that your pump runs at least 6 hours per day, preferably divided into two different intervals.
